MEET REGINE

Régine Laroche is the Founder of FeniksArise!, an online platform offering Self-Care & Inner Balance Programs for women aspiring to lead more fulfilling lives. Her competencies span the fields of Architecture, Well-Being & Stress Management, Dialogue Facilitation for Conflict Transformation & Peacebuilding, and Environmental Advocacy.

Régine has worked in Architecture & Urban Planning in the U.S. and Haiti with renewed emphasis on lightweight ecological construction after the devastating 2010 earthquake in Haiti. She has been a Certified Yoga Teacher for over two decades and is a longtime meditator. These practices are at the heart of her engagement for a more inclusive, equitable, and humane society.

Throughout her architectural career, Régine has been active in teaching, mentoring, facilitating, and public speaking. She has engaged with diverse audiences across various platforms in programs and talks on Yoga, Personal Development, and Social Responsibility.

She has carried out Action-based Ecology classes for young children, Body Awareness workshops for performers, and Trauma-informed Yoga for abused women and recovering substance abusers in collaboration with private parties and grassroots organizations and has been involved in organizing meditation retreats in the vipassana tradition. As a co-founder of the Fondation Wynne pour l’Environnement (FWE), Régine has helped foster partnerships for Environmental Education projects and Awareness-Raising programs geared at children, youth, and the public at large.

Régine has been part of innovative Community Reinforcement initiatives implementing Inclusive Dialogue and Non-violent Conflict Resolution in high-risk areas with Concern Worldwide (CWW) and the Institut de Recherche et d’Action pour la Paix (IRAP). Régine joined the Center for Mind-Body Medicine (CMBM) and its global effort to heal population-wide trauma in the aftermath of the 2010 earthquake. As a member of the Haiti Leadership Team, she has co-facilitated dozens of workshops in temporary camps and led Mind-Body Skills Groups for a wide demographic across the academic, healthcare, law enforcement, religious sectors, and others.

Since 2017, Régine has been involved in live and online Community-based and Global programs with CMBM U.S. as a Faculty. She became certified as a Facilitator in the Community Resiliency Model (CRM®) of the Trauma Resource Institute (TRI) in 2021. Régine’s present focus is coaching women to step into their full power and own their unique voices. She has been based in Gainesville, Florida, for the last few years.
